High school boys golf: Week 8 region recap

Week 8 of the high school boys golf season was a very eventful one as Orem’s Maddox Nielsen shot a 59 last Tuesday at Timpanogos Golf Club. The round helped lower his season average in Region 8 to 67.8.
There are two weeks left in the regular season, with the 6A, 5A, 4A and 3A state tournaments slated for the week of Oct. 14.
